Questions
Do you pack out furniture?
When the room has to dry or remediate, yes. Items are inventoried. Storage is climate-controlled where the contents need it.
Can documents be saved?
Often, if we freeze or dry them promptly. Do not stack wet paper overnight hoping it airs out.
What usually cannot be saved?
Category 3 porous goods, swollen particle board, and some textiles. We will show you before we discard.
Who owns the inventory list?
You do. It is part of the file for insurance or out-of-pocket work.
Is pack-out on the rate card?
Contents labour is listed. Scope depends on volume. Large pack-outs are written before we start, except where delay would destroy the goods.
Can I move things myself?
Photograph first. Do not move sewage-affected items. Clean-water contents can be lifted onto blocks if it is safe.
