Who pays

In BC, responsibility often splits between the strata corporation (common property, some building systems) and the owner (the strata lot, some fixtures), subject to bylaws, the Strata Property Act, deductibles, and chargebacks. That split is a legal question.

We document what was wet, what we did, and what the log says. We do not decide who writes the cheque. This page is general guidance, not legal advice.
